  • ¿Why choose an electric radiant floor?
The radiant floor heating is the modern heating solution,
creating the perfect temperature, giving warmth and comfort
from the moment we enter a room

Cost efficiency

The heating of an isolated electric radiant floor is 10-15% more efficient.

Free wall space

No radiator provides extra space and design freedom.

Unbeatable Guarantees

It is a standard in all our heating systems.

Benefits of electric radiant floor heating

Suitable for each type of project

Thanks to the availability of a wide range of products and systems, there is a solution for virtually any type of project, either in a new construction, remodeling, retrofitting or renovation. From a simple upgrade of a suite to a complete installation. The systems offer total flexibility while allowing for the best energy savings, now and in the future.

Unsurpassed comfort through uniform heat distribution

Heating the floor extends the heat over the entire floor surface using radiant heat at a low temperature, instead of the high temperature or "point temperature" associated with the radiators. Heating a large surface at a low temperature produces the most comfortable heating possible by reducing the heat loss of our bodies without overheating the surrounding air.

Cost Savings and Greater Energy Efficiency through the Control of Zones

Zoning a house with underfloor heating is simple, and unlike traditional systems that work in all rooms at the same time, it is possible to adjust the heating for individual rooms where and when necessary.

Warmup's unique thermostats allow the selection of temperature levels and schedule to match perfectly with each user's lifestyle. In each room, the temperature can be precisely controlled when necessary. As such, reductions of up to 10-20% can be achieved on electricity bills.

Freedom of design and zero maintenance

Without bulky radiators to occupy valuable space on the wall and floor, our systems are a designer's dream. The floor heating allows the use of each square meter of a house, and be able to place furniture where you want without having to worry about blocking the radiators.

The system has zero maintenance.

Benefits for health and greater security

A floor heating system reduces humidity and is inhospitable to carpet dust and mites, while radiant heat reduces dust circulation. These are important characteristics for those who suffer from allergies and asthma.

There are also no low level surfaces that are at a high temperature or hard metal edges as with conventional radiators.

Floor heating vs radiators

Freedom of design and zero maintenance

The choice of heating system determines how heat is distributed. Floor heating produces radiant heat that creates the sensation of heat. The term radiant heating is used as thermal radiation and is responsible for a significant proportion of the "thermal comfort" achieved by this form of heating.

Once this hot air has cooled down, it falls to ground level to be heated by the convection of the radiator again. This creates a flow of hot and cold air, and inevitably hot and cold spots where areas near the radiators are hotter than areas in another part of the room.

Efficiency and comfort

The distribution of heat affects the efficiency and comfort of the heating system. Radiant heat heats objects directly and maintains natural humidity in a room, while hot air convection tends to reduce humidity, which can make the hot zone feel congested.

If the entire floor of the room is heated, then the radiant heat gives a uniform dispersion of heat, while the convective heating heats up an area initially and then takes a while to circulate to reach the required comfort levels. Increasing the air temperature through convective heating can cause discomfort and overheating, which in turn can reduce oxygen levels and, ultimately, cause breathing problems if the air is too hot.
